The votes are in and Zombie Dogz finished second in Mobile Cuisine's 2016 Hot Dog Vendor of the Year poll.
After a neck and neck race, the popular Dayton food truck fell to Yeti Dogs of Anchorage, Alaska.
We'd like to add that second place in a national poll is nothing to sneeze at. You'll get 'em next year, Zombie Dogz. Keep doing what you do.
Sprint to the polls (or website), hot dog enthusiasts!
One of Dayton's food truck staples is up for a huge honor. Zombie Dogz is a finalist for mobile-cuisine.com's Hot Dog Vendor of the Year award.
Zombie Dogz faces stiff competition from across the country. They are hoping to win the title for the second year in a row.
According to their Facebook page, Zombie Dogz offers its patrons a convenient, economical and exciting alternative to the everyday, mundane fast food chains. The food truck provides a growing list of gourmet hot dog and sausage combinations, along with handcrafted side dishes.
