The Wall Street Journal's source said the decision to locate in two cities is based on a need to recruit enough tech talent. The move is also expected to forego potential issues with housing, transportation and other problems that could arise when adding such a large volume of workers at one time.
Amazon hasn’t yet made any official announcements regarding the move, but the online giant has been in advanced discussions with several cities, including Crystal City in Virginia, Dallas and New York City. A decision could come as early as this week, the Wall Street Journal reports.
