The building is behind the Capri Motel.
Some 9 to 10 fire vehicles were on the scene with crews from Fairfield, Hamilton and elsewhere in Butler County are working to extinguish the fire.
Ohio 4 was closed in both directions because hose had to be run across the street.
Crews initially were concerned an employee was still inside, but now no one is reported to be inside.
INITIAL STORY:
A fire was reported minutes ago at the Mi Hacienda Nite Club on Dixie Highway near Corwin Avenue.
Fire crews were on the scene. According to conversations on the emergency forces’ scanner, flames were visible, and everybody was out of the building.
