This is not the way to fix a flat tire.
Deputies in California responded to a report of a suspicious man next to a parked SUV on Monday. They said they found him trying to fix two damaged tires with gauze and Band-Aids, KTLA reported.
According to a Facebook post by the Orange County Sheriff's Department Mission Viejo Police Services, the 26-year-old man was attempting to use the medical strips and bandages to patch the two tires.
The man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and taken to jail, deputies said in the Facebook post.
