Dozens of cats and kittens were removed from an Iowa home Tuesday in what animal rights’ activists are calling “a hoarding situation.”
The Animal Rescue League of Iowa posted photos on its Facebook page of 74 felines that were rescued from a home in Des Moines, KCCI reported. A spokeswoman for the organization told the Des Moines Register the rescue took about six hours to complete.
Donations to help the Animal Rescue League care for the cats can be made here.
