Drake passes The Beatles with second-most top 10s in Billboard Hot 100 history

Drake continues to dominate the charts and has toppled The Beatles in the process.

Billboard reported Monday that the Toronto rapper now has the second-most Billboard Hot 100 top 10s. His latest single, "Money in the Grave," featuring Rick Ross, debuted at No. 7, making it Drake's 35th top 10. It breaks his tie with The Beatles, who have 34 Hot 100 top 10s.

Drake is second only to Madonna, who has 38 Hot 100 top 10s. His 35 top 10s include 10 as a lead artist and 12 as a featured act. In Madonna and The Beatles' case, they are the lead artist on all their entries.

The Billboard Hot 100 started on Aug. 4, 1958. Since then, Stevie Wonder, Janet Jackson, Mariah Carey, Lil Wayne, Whitney Houston, Jay-Z, The Rolling Stones, Elton John and Rihanna have all set records on the all-genres singles chart.
