Taco Bell employee in Michigan accused of throwing chair through window

A manager at a Taco Bell in Michigan is accused of “going into a rage” and throwing a chair through a window and causing severe damage at the restaurant, authorities said.

Dakota James Joblinski, 22, of Jonesville, was arrested Dec. 24 and charged with disorderly conduct and malicious destruction of property worth more than $1,000 -- a five-year felony -- the Hillsdale Daily News reported.

According to Hillsdale County Prosecuting Attorney Neal Brady, Joblinski was at an off-site employee party and was told he had to return to work to clean and close the restaurant, the newspaper reported.

Police responded to a call when Joblinski allegedly began destroying property, including throwing a table through a window. The caller believed Joblinski was trying to break into the restaurant, the Daily News reported.

“He just lost it,” Brady told the newspaper.

Joblinski is tentatively scheduled for a probable cause conference Wednesday in 2B District Court, according to the Daily News.
