A teenage girl stabbed one of her classmates Thursday morning on a school bus bound for Gibbs High School in St. Petersburg, according to police.
Authorities said the injured girl was in stable condition after the attack. No other injuries were reported.

According to the Tampa Bay Times, the victim, a 15-year-old girl, was stabbed in the back during a fight. Authorities told the newspaper a suspect was in custody after the incident.
More than two dozen other students from Gibbs High School were on the bus at the time of the stabbing, Bay News 9 reported.
Authorities continue to investigate.
