Actress Sonja Sohn, known for her roles in "The Wire" and "The Chi," has been arrested on suspicion of cocaine possession. The Associated Press reported she is facing charges of felony possession of cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
TMZ reported the actress was arrested Sunday at 2 a.m. in Manteo, North Carolina.
Authorities with the Dare County Sheriff's Office told the AP that the 55-year-old actress, whose real name is Sonja Plack, was arrested after a traffic stop. An officer said a K-9 detected the smell of drugs and a search found a purse with cocaine and drug paraphernalia.
Bond for Sohn was set at $1,500, and she was released. She is due in court Tuesday for an arraignment.
