Hot, humid weather could make temperatures feel as high as 100 degrees

The Miami Valley will start the week sweating as hot temperatures and humidity will make it feel as hot as 95 to 100 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. The high heat is expected to last through Friday.

While the day will mainly consist of sunny skies, we will see slight chances of rain today and higher chances of rain Tuesday. Showers and thunderstorms are possible between 2 and 9 p.m. today, the National Weather Service predicted. Today’s expected high of 92 degrees is well above normal, the NWS said.

Tomorrow, chances of rain are higher at about 50%. Showers and thunderstorms are possible between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. The skies generally are predicted to be sunny, however, and rainfall is expected to be light.
Temperatures will range from a high of 93 to a low of 71 degrees Tuesday with heat indices of 95 to 100 again. The skies in the evening will be partly cloudy.

On Wednesday, more showers and thunderstorms are possible between 2 p.m. and 7 p.m., but the chances of rain are low. High temperatures will reach up to 94 degrees with lows of 72 degrees. The skies are expected to be sunny, but clouds are possible in the evening.
