Lynn Hulsey is an investigative reporter focused on business, the economy, government and politics. She has worked at the Dayton Daily News since 1995. Hulsey has written about public corruption, chemical dangers, derailment of trains carrying hazardous materials, flawed public pension systems, abuse of government contract set-aside programs, fraudulent social service providers, the child care crisis and the economic challenges faced by families and businesses. She's won awards from the Associated Press, the Society of Professional Journalists, the Ohio Newspaper Women’s Association, the Best of Cox Award, and the Education Writers Association’s National Awards for Education Reporting. A native of the Dayton area, Hulsey graduated from the University of Dayton.
