Temperatures Monday could push to break the record high for the day that was set more than 90 years ago.
MONDAY’S FORECAST: Near-record high temps today, rain showers expected Monday night
“January was warm with 27 days above normal, and February is following that trend,” Storm Center 7 Meteorologist Kirstie Zontini said.

The high temperature Sunday in Dayton climbed to 61 degrees, which was only four degrees away from tying the record for the day. Sunday's record high was 65 set back in 1903.
“Today we are forecasting another spring-like day with a high of 60. The record for Monday is 62 set back in 1927,” Zontini said.

“A strong southerly breeze and some sunshine will help take temperatures about 25 degrees above normal for February.”
