    The Melting Pot can help you celebrate Sweetest Day all weekend long, from Friday, Oct. 16 through Sunday, Oct. 18, with their romantic dinner package. You and a loved one can enjoy the exclusivity of sitting in a private booth in the “lovers’ lane” section of the restaurant, at a table covered in rose petals and floating candles. The special four-course meal will include creamy Fiesta cheese and a Wedge salad as appetizers, filet mignon, lemon garlic shrimp, honey orange chicken, herb-crusted pork, and wild mushroom sacchetti with fresh vegetables as an entrée and the Banana Split Chocolate for dessert. While The Melting Pot will also offer their regular menu in the main dining room, this special Sweetest Day package will be a unique way to experience the restaurant. Cost: $109 per couple.

    Raise Your Brush makes it easy to do something creative with your loved on this Sweetest Day. On Saturday, Oct. 17 from 7-9:30 p.m., you can enjoy a special date night for half the price. That’s right: Raise Your Brush is offering BOGO on this class, so when you purchase one ticket it will actually reserve seats for two. You and your date will paint “Love Birds” together and get to take home your work of art as a keepsake and constant reminder of the occasion. Cost: $35 per couple.

    Celebrate Sweetest Day a little early with Corks and Crafts. On Thursday, Oct. 15 from 6-9 p.m. Corks and Crafts will lead glass painting on pint and wine glasses, utilizing pre-planned designs to create colorful, custom drinkware. Anyone is welcome to join the fun -- significant others, best friends or both. Together you’ll create a long-lasting memory and learn a purposeful craft that can be used again and again. The session will be held at Company 7 BBQ, located at 1001 S Main St, Englewood. Cost: $40 per person.
