It’s the first First Friday of spring (even if it doesn’t feel like it), so here are a few ways to celebrate the season.

Starting at 5 P.M., visitors can find dining specials, professional sports, happy hour cocktails, art gallery openings, live performances and more fun activities.

Anyone who has never visited downtown Dayton — or if it’s been a few years since the last visit — First Fridays offer a fantastic “introductory” experience. Browse boutique shops, raise a glass at a local brewpub, take in street performances by roving entertainers, and shop at downtown’s collection of small, locally owned businesses.
