Graeter’s partners with brewery for National Root Beer Float Day

Graeter’s Ice Cream and a brewery are partnering up to satiate your sweet tooth.

Cincinnati-based Graeter’s and Small Town Brewery will cap off National Ice Cream Month with one last sweet treat. This time, the treat is exclusively for adults.

For National Root Beer Float Day on Aug. 6, Graeter’s and the Illnois-based beer company will offer special prices and treats for ice cream lovers. The brewery makes Not Your Father’s Root Beer, a speciality ale that tastes like root beer but contains alcohol like a regular craft beer.

A partnered promotion will be available now through Aug. 6 in retail store aisles, offering shoppers a discount on one or both brands — the promotion encompassing pints of Graeter’s and six-packs of adult beverage, Not Your Father’s Root Beer.

Participating retailers include Kroger, Giant Eagle, Harris Teeter, Jewel-Osco, The Fresh Market and Price Chopper Supermarkets nationwide. Graeter’s scoop shops will also have promotions going on for the day.

Graeter’s has more than 50 retail stores and ship over 300,000 pints annually for online mail order sales. Graeter’s is found in more than 6,000 grocery stores in 46 states. Locally, Graeter’s has locations at the following sites:
