Dannielynn Birkhead, 12, wore a pink dress and familiar-looking pink hat as she posed alongside her father, 46-year-old Larry Birkhead, at Churchill Downs in Louisville, Kentucky.
"Kentucky Derby time once again," the elder Birkhead tweeted Saturday. "Dannielynn looks pretty in pink in her dress by Junona and her Mom's hat from her unforgettable appearance at The Kentucky Derby in 2004."

On Friday night, the Birkheads also attended the annual Barnstable-Brown Derby Eve Gala – the party where Larry Birkhead first met Smith 16 years ago, E! News reported.

The Birkheads have attended the Derby together every year since 2010, Fox News reported.
Smith died of a drug overdose in February 2007, just months after Dannielynn was born. The death kicked off a well-publicized paternity dispute between Larry Birkhead and other men, including Smith's boyfriend, Howard K. Stern. DNA test results confirmed that Larry Birkhead was Dannielynn's father.
