Graeter’s unveils new bourbon-flavored ice cream in plenty of time for Kentucky Derby

Derby Days are here, and one local ice cream institution is already celebrating with a new seasonal flavor.

Graeter’s Ice Cream, a family owned craft ice cream maker since 1870, on Monday released a derby-inspired flavor: Brown Butter Bourbon Pecan.

In 2018, Graeter’s discontinued its Bourbon Pecan Chocolate Chip flavor.

This new Brown Butter Bourbon Pecan flavor is meant to be an even more indulgent alternative, according to a Graeter’s news release.

ABOUT THE FLAVOR

The Brown Butter Bourbon Pecan consists of bourbon glazed pecan pieces in brown butter bourbon ice cream. Fans can find the new flavor at all 55 Graeter's scoop shops and online from the Graeter's website.
