Pete Davidson made an appearance on this week's "Saturday Night Live," putting worried fans at ease hours after the comedian told his Instagram followers that he didn't "want to be on this Earth anymore" before deleting his account.
"I'm doing my best to stay here for you but I actually don't know how much longer I can last," Davidson, who has been vocal about his struggles with borderline personality disorder, wrote Saturday in the Instagram post. "All I've ever tried to do was help people. Just remember I told you so."
Pete Davidson just posted this on his verified Instagram account. If you know him, I hope you’ll give him the love and support he needs. If you don’t, you can still give him support. https://t.co/osNU2MdppU pic.twitter.com/IIlfC38BqY

The post alarmed many of Davidson's friends and fans, including ex-fiancee Ariana Grande, prompting messages of support and a wellness check by New York police. According to The New York Times, a spokesperson for NBC told police that the comedian was OK.
In an unexpected development, Ariana Grande has revealed that she has shown up to 30 Rockefeller, where they film SNL, in an attempt to show support for Pete Davidson after his alarmingly dark Instagram note. Pete Davidson ... hang in there. There is a lot of help out here. Surrender to some love some where around you ... today! Right now! And then ... let in the help that will become available. I’m praying for you Pete. I’ve been there. It gets better.

We need to be kinder to each other... Like I said on the show - it is okay if your holiday is not easy and happy. Sending love and light to Pete Davidson...

Very touching to see Pete Davidson's brief appearance on SNL tonight. At a very low moment, he thankfully found the strength to cry for help.
