It's time to plan your Dayton Summer Restaurant Week adventure.

The Miami Valley Restaurant Association's twice annual dining out promotion runs Sunday, July 26, through Aug. 2, giving foodies seven days to dine at more than 40 local restaurants with significant savings.

“Summer Restaurant Week is a great way to try a new restaurant,” said Amy Zahora, MVRA’s executive director. "During Restaurant Week, restaurants showcase their talents. It's a fun event, and a great way to support the restaurants in our community."

During restaurant week, three-course meals and meal deals will be sold for $20.15, $25.15 and $30.15. What you get through the promotion varies from restaurant to restaurant, but the bottom line is it's a great time to try someplace new. A dollar from each meal purchased benefits the MVRA Scholarship Fund or Dayton chefs.

Now the next question. Where to go? We have partnered with the Miami Valley Restaurant Association to put together a searchable guide to Dayton Summer Restaurant Week including hours of operation, sides, appetizers, soups, desserts and fuller descriptions of entrees offered.

A few things to keep in mind before you plan your dining calendar.

  • Some restaurants will require reservations. It is always best to call ahead to confirm participation on a given day and ask if reservations are needed.
  • Menus are subject to change.
  • Some new participating restaurants may join in later. So keep checking back with us for frequent updates.
  • Enter a contest to win Dinner for Two and an exclusive chef meet and greet at Salar, Coco's Bistro, The Melting Pot or Amber Rose.
  • Share your Summer Restaurant Week pictures on social media with the hashtag #daytonrestaurantweek
