3. Caddy's Tap House (Beavercreek)

Countless menu options, including 11 types of burgers, not the least of which is the intimidating Dagwood — five patties with bacon and five kinds of cheese. With nearly 50 beers on tap, they’re bound to have something any beer drinker will enjoy.

4. The Growler Pub & Grub

Formerly the site of Wright Wing (and others), The Growler set up shop in March of 2017. Some things have changed, but the commitment to being a sports bar with multiple screens has not. Guests seem to really love their pizza.

Wright Wing (Fairborn)

Under new ownership since May of 2017, as the name implies, they specialize in wings. They also offer pizza and a decent beer selection, to include local breweries.

5. Flyboy's Deli (Oakwood)

A visit to Flyboy's, which boasts New York City deli taste, you'll find locally-themed sandwiches and salads along with one of the biggest gatherings of Buckeyes fans this side of Columbus!

6. Smokey Bones (Dayton)

This spacious location has screens visible at nearly every angle. The menu features fire-grilled sirloins and tenderloins as well as chicken (including wings) and seafood options. Smokey Bones also rewards repeat business with a loyalty program.

7. Hinders Sports Bar & Grill (Tipp City)

You have to love an establishment that serves sandwiches bigger than most mouths (I said most). They offer daily drink specials aimed at the football fan to go with a colorful atmosphere.

8. Bunkers Sports Bar & Grill (Vandalia)

The bar is literally surrounded by television screens, so there’s no missing a play…unless you get caught up trying to read all of the more than 40 beers on tap that rotate regularly. The menu is chock full of great American bar fare, included their much-heralded wings. But you should do yourself a favor and get there early enough (starting at 8 a.m.) for their ginormous breakfast portions. They've got more options than military academy offenses.

Bunkers will host a special Ohio State Kick Off Party this Saturday, beginning at 11 a.m. and featuring Scarlet Ale from Vandalia’s Hairless Hare Brewery.

9. Fricker's Wings Sports Bar (Kettering)

The Dayton-born chain, with 24 restaurants throughout Ohio, as well as Indiana and That State Up North, has been a local fixture in the sites of sports fans since 1985. With 15 wing sauces, you should be able to find one at your speed. I, of course, could never get passed the Frickin’ Kicker. Are you a fan of draft beer? Well, how’s about 120 ounces of it in the behemoth Fricker’s calls the Supertube? That’s nearly a gallon of beer and reason enough to install the Uber application on your smartphone.
