We need music now more than ever.
In case you missed it, on Tuesday, Springfield native John Legend hosted an Instagram Live concert, with special guest appearances by his wife, Chrissy Teigen wearing a bath towel, and daughter Luna.
During the show, which was part of the new Together at Home concert series started by Coldplay’s Chris Martin, the singer confirmed he has new music on the way.

Legend said fans should expect new music coming this year and previewed one of the new songs, “Actions Speak Louder Than Love Songs.”
Legend finished by asking fans to suggest other artists to "pass the torch to."
Together, at Home is a collaboration between Global Citizen and the World Health Organization (WHO). It is part of a campaign called the Solidarity Response Fund, which is looking to raise $675 million throughout the month of April towards COVID-19 relief.
HOW THE IDEA STARTED
On Monday Coldplay's frontman Chris Martin held an intimate, sweet and beautiful concert from his home.
Martin tweeted on the @coldpay account: "Hello everyone. I hope you and your family are safe and healthy. If anyone feels like chatting and listening to some music, I'm going to do a lifestream on the Coldplay Instagram in about 30 mins (1pm in LA / 8pm in London). love CM #TogetherAtHome,"
A few hours later Legend tweeted: "My friend Chris Martin did a lovely little concert from home today. I'll be doing one tomorrow at 1pm Pacific time. See you soon. We'll try to get though this together! #TogetheratHome."
He followed that tweet up saying that it will be on Instagram Live at his @johnlegend and that requests will be accepted.
