St. Patrick's Day is kicking off early thanks to a fishy event this weekend at Carroll High School, 4524 Linden Ave. in Dayton.

The Patriot Booster Club, the Carrolleer Band Parents and The Carroll Alumni Association have teamed up for St. PAT’S Fest, a spanking new fundraiser.

Carroll's St. PAT's Fest combines a Booster Club fundraiser and the Alumni Association’s 31-year-old fish fry and into a weekend featuring a fish fry and a carnival–style family fun day.

“We wanted to broaden our base and increase attendance,” Jack Glaser, St. PAT’S Fest event chairman and a Carroll class of ’69 graduate, told Dayton.com.
