Mark your calendars: Local food truck rally to return to Dayton in March

For the sixth year in a row, Yellow Cab Tavern will be welcoming guests to the Yellow Cab Food Truck Rally. The first installment in the 2020 series will be taking place on Friday, March 20, beginning at 5 p.m. From that point on, a food truck rally will be held on the third Friday of every month through October.

With a rotating lineup of food trucks, The Yellow Cab Food Truck Rallies offer beer, free live music and new and intriguing local cuisines for attendees to try.

“We’re so excited about the 2020 season of Yellow Cab Food Truck Rallies,” said event organizer Brian Johnson, in a press release. “These events are always a great opportunity for the community to come together over great food! This year will introduce a greater variety of trucks so that food-lovers can try something new and also enjoy their longtime favorites.”

• The Pizza Bandit

• Rolling Indulgence

• Billie Gold Bubble Tea

• Hunger Paynes

• HaolePino Hawaiian-Filipino Island Cuisine

• Smokin' Bee-Bee-Q

• La Pampa Mobile

• Twisted Taco Dayton

Please note, trucks are subject to change. 

The musical acts are still being determined and will be announced at a date in the future.

In addition to these dinnertime food truck rallies, brunch rallies will also be taking place on the first Sunday of every month from April through October, beginning at 10 a.m. The first brunch rally will take place on Sunday, April 5.

Yellow Cab Tavern will also be selling Bloody Marys, mimosas and more during this brunch rally.

“Whether you join us for dinner, brunch or both, there’s a lot to love at Yellow Cab Food Truck Rallies,” Johnson said. “Our season runs through October, but the earlier you attend the earlier you can discover your new favorites!”

The Yellow Cab Food Truck Rallies are held at 700 E. Fourth St. in Dayton. All ages are welcome and the event is rain or shine and free to the public.
