Get ready for stilt walkers, epic snowball fights and s’mores at Mad River’s FREE family winter festival

Prepare for the ultimate snow day.

Mad River Mountain in Zanesfield has announced two dates for the Mad River Mountain Family Festival. The festival will include snow activities for all ages, games and giveaways from Mad River and Aspen Ski & Board.

"Returning for its seventh year, the Mad River Mountain Family Festival is a fun time for families and kids of all ages. Our schedule is still being worked out for this year but in year's past we've had fun attractions throughout the day including balloons by The Michigan Stiltwalker Neil Sauter and a special appearance by animals from The Columbus Zoo and Aquarium! Work up your appetite on the slopes and then enjoy free s'mores," according to Mad River's website.

The festival is free. However, skiing, tubing, snowboarding and other regular Mad River activities are still normal price.
