The woods of Brukner Nature Center will soon be alive with the sounds of spooks.

Trails will be lit with enchanting lights for a kid-friendly evening filled with guided walks, live animals, costumed characters and more. Guides will lead the way along the gently rolling trail and stop at six stations along the way to teach the kiddos all about the wild creatures of Brukner Nature Center.

“But the fun doesn’t stop there. Activities also include free face painting, games, storytelling at a campfire, plus cookies and cider after the hike. This awesome program is only $5 per person for BNC Members and $7 per person for non-members — cash or check only. Kids ages 2 and under are free,” according to a press release.

Tickets are available first come, first serve, and organizers encourage groups to ride together because tickets are handed out at the gate. Gate opens at 6 p.m. with the first group leaving at 6:30 p.m. and every five minutes after that. Parking is limited, so load up the van (or wagon!) and carpool.
