After years of us sneaking spoonfuls of cookie dough, edible cookie dough is finally a thing.
If you’re looking to try it locally, Mo Dough is here to make your wish come true.
“Cookie dough is my comfort snack,” explained owner Robin Daywalt. She noted how big cities like New York and Nashville have been successful with this treat trend. “We’ve all seen the videos with lines wrapped around the store. I love that there’s a want in the market.”
The vendor will be at the Night Market at Yellow Cab Tavern, 700 E. 4th St., Dayton.
The event will be held Friday, May 18 from 5-10 p.m. and you can expect plenty of local food, artisan and handmade goods, beer, coffee, gifts and more.
Mo Dough is Dayton’s first edible cookie dough company.
“I’m excited to be trying something new. Being new to the area, it’s inspiring and so nice to see how many people support small business,” said Daywalt. “The way people are about Ohio-made -- there’s a lot of passion.”
The Night Market will be Mo Dough’s first public appearance in Dayton. Three flavors will be available at the market: chocolate chip, buckeye bliss and sugar cookie. There are three different size options: 6-oz sample pack of all three flavors (2-oz each) for $5, 4-oz small serving for $3 and 9-oz large serving for $6.75.
