Church’s inked a multi-year deal with Goalz Restaurant Group to develop 20 Church’s Chicken restaurants per year across six states: Ohio, Florida, Kentucky, Colorado, North Carolina and South Carolina. The deal is the largest Church’s has ever struck with a single operator, Church’s officials said.

Competition intensifies with new-restaurant openings (January 2017)
Shawn Eby, President of Goalz Restaurant Group, partnered with American Development Partners (ADP) for development of the restaurants, according to a release. ADP will invest money to fund real estate acquisitions, construction, and design, and will be the build-to-suit landlord of Goalz. Eby has more than 30 years of quick-service restaurant operations experience and will oversee the operations of each restaurant as they are developed.

Church’s operates three Dayton-area locations:
The locations that remain open are:
• 1113 N. Gettysburg Ave., Dayton
• 2443 N. Gettysburg Ave., Dayton
• 5711 N. Dixie Drive in Harrison Twp.
The two restaurants that were shut down in late December were at 529 N. Broadway St. in Dayton and 2131 W. Third St. in Dayton.
Founded in San Antonio, Church’s Chicken has more than 1,600 locations in 27 countries and generates system-wide sales of more than $1 billion.
