Xuan Vietnamese Cuisine, at 4770 Airway Road in Riverside, is in the process of being sold to Noppadol Mangmeesub, according to both Mangmeesub and the current owner, Tony Nguyen. Nguyen will remain in the restaurant's kitchen during a transition to teach the new owner recipes and preparations for the Vietnamese dishes the restaurant is known for.

“After the first few months, we will add Thai dishes to the menu,” while still keeping the Vietnamese specialties, Mangmeesub said. The restaurant’s name will change sometime later this year, although a new name has not been chosen yet, he said.

The Craigslist listing generated considerable interest, Nguyen said, but he reached an agreement with Mangmeesub within days of the offer being posted.
