Kings Island
The Banshee - The $24 million, steel inverted roller coaster debuted in 2014 and helped boost the park's attendance numbers. It includes 4,124 feet of track and seven inversions.
The Beast – Opened in 1979, it is an oldie and a goodie. Sprawling over 35 acres, The Beast is the world longest wooden roller coaster.
The Racer – It might not be the biggest or the tallest, but The Racer is one of the most exciting rides at Kings Island. Cars on two tracks compete to finish first.
Diamondback – If steep drops, twist and turns at 80 mph are your thing, Diamondback is your ride. Diamondback opened in 2009 and features the airtime we crave.
Cedar Point
The Millennium Force – Considered by many to be the best ride at Cedar Point, Millennium Force is Amusement Today's all-time best Steel Coaster. You fly around Lake Erie at 90 mph.
Blue Streak – This classic wooden coaster, that opened in 1964, is a must ride.
The Gemini – Regardless if you are on the blue or red train, this racing coaster is a hoot. Riders often give riders on "competing trains" high fives.
Maverick – Just like a gunslinger, Maverick is quick on the draw and faster throughout the ride. The first hill has a 95 degree angle and a 100-foot drop. It is the steepest at the park.
Top Thrill Dragster – It is a real fast ride – 17 seconds, but totally worth it. You go zero to 120 miles in 4 seconds on the tallest ride at the park.
