If you are Yellow Springs resident and internationally known comedian David Chappelle, you walk around West Hollywood with it.
The celebrity website TMZ spotted Chappelle wearing an Ohio T-shirt and carrying his newly won Emmy.
In the TMZ video posted on Sept. 13, Chappelle says he plans to put the Emmy on a necklace and wear it around his neck like rapper Slick Rick.
Dave Chappelle isn't letting go of his newly-awarded Emmy now that he won it for his post-election monologue on Saturday Night Live.

ORIGINAL STORY: Dave Chappelle nabs major award after third nomination
The third time was the charm for local resident and internationally-known comedian Dave Chappelle.
The Yellow Springs-area man won an Emmy for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series at the Creative Arts Awards.
He hosted Saturday Night Live after the contentious November 2016 presidential election.

Chappelle was nominated in 2004 and 2005 in the Outstanding Variety, Music or Comedy Special category for the special "Dave Chappelle: For What it's Worth" and his Comedy Central sketch comedy show "Chappelle's Show."

Sunday’s award ceremony was a precursor to the main Emmy Awards ceremony to be held next weekend.
It was a big day for SNL.
