The Dayton Metro Library is getting ready for its biggest event in years with thousands of used books, furniture and office equipment for sale.

The Friends of the Library Spring Sale will be April 3-5 at the old Trotwood Branch Library, 651 E. Main St.

“We also have tables, desks, chairs, shelving, computers, and all kinds of odds and ends from across the library system available for purchase.”

Sale hours will be Friday, April 3, 3 p.m. – 8 p.m., Saturday, April 4, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Sunday, April 5, 1 p.m. – 3 p.m.

Friends of the Library members can gain early entry to the sale on Friday, April 3, starting at 1 p.m. New members are welcome to join in advance online, or at the door.

Books will be $1 each, with mass market paperbacks and all AV items buy one, get three free. Furniture and other items will be individually priced.
