Homes planned on land near golf course include ‘lifestyle’ options

Plans have been submitted to build 127 homes on Miamisburg land the city annexed from Miami Twp.

Initial plans for the proposal – called Courseview @ Pipestone – includes 88 “traditional” one- and two-story homes with 39 “lifestyle” units, according to the city. Lifestyle homes are targeted for empty nesters.

Inverness Homes plans to construct the homes with a projected price range $300,000 to $400,000 on about 43 acres on Miamisburg Springboro Road that abut the Pipestone Golf Course, city officials said.

Courseview @ Pipestone is the development that triggered the city’s annexation of about 41 acres of Miami Twp. land completed this year after both jurisdictions approved a tax-sharing deal.

The land will need to be rezoned before a final development planned can be presented.

The plan will likely initially go before city council in May and then to the planning commission, officials said.
