William H. Pitsenbarger (1944 1966) Airman First Class, USAF, was posthumously awarded the Air Force Cross. In 2008, his family accepted the Congressional Medal of Honor from the Secretary of the Air Force. He is part of the Dayton Region's Walk of Fame induction class of 2020.
