4-year-old Florida boy, man shot inside vehicle, authorities say

A 4-year-old Florida boy is recovering after he and a man were shot in Fort Lauderdale, authorities said.

According to WFOR-TV, the two victims were inside a vehicle near the intersection of Northwest 21st Avenue and Northwest 24th Street late Sunday when the shooting occurred, investigators said. Authorities said the boy suffered a gunshot wound to the arm but did not reveal more details about the man's injury.

Emergency crews rushed the pair to the hospital, where they were treated for injuries that aren't considered to be life-threatening, the news outlet reported.
