Making good on their promise to re-brand, the new owners of the Wright Wing location in Kettering have re-christened the business The Growler Pub & Grub

The sports-themed location at 3808 Wilmington Pike opened as a second Wright Wing location in June of 2015, but was purchased by GEL Investments last November. The new ownership group, which also owns and operates Dog’s Breath Tavern at 1912 E. Whipp Road, chose the name as a play on words as it relates to both craft beer and their other location.

“I think craft beer offers a lot of variety, as opposed to days gone by with domestic beers,” said co-owner Gary Leasure Jr.

“We’ll be adding a few more things to the menu. We’re planning on focusing on our outside deck for the spring and summertime, with some music and some more activities,” Leasure added.
