CAN YOU DO IT? Here’s how to try this epic burger with two grilled cheese sandwiches as buns

If you've never had an Old Skool Burger from this popular restaurant, you're in for a treat.

Melt Bar and Grilled will be bringing back their popular burgers for the next three months at all locations. Burgers can be made from a choice of 8-oz. ground steak, a house-made veggie burger or the brand new Impossible Burger.

Of special note is the Reverend Horton Meat Burger, which is quite the behemoth. It features two kindergarten grilled cheese sandwiches deep fried as buns, double ground steak burgers, crisp bacon, triple American cheese. Vegetarian available. Dannnnng.

Melt’s Burger Menu:

Melt Burger / 8 oz. ground steak burger or house-made veggie burger, choose your cheese. Vegetarian available, vegan available. 
Breakfast Burger / Farm fresh fried eggs, crisp bacon, american cheese. Vegetarian available, vegan available. 
Fat City Burger / Honey ham, salami, crisp bacon, Swiss and American cheeses.
BBQ Pig Burger / Roasted pulled pork, thick-cut onion rings, sweet BBQ sauce, sharp cheddar.
Blackened Blue Burger / Blackening spice rub, thick-cut onion rings, bleu cheese crumbles and bleu cheese dressing. Vegetarian available. 
El Diablo Burger / Ancho, pasilla negro, cayenne and chipotle pepper rub, fresh jalapeno peppers, sweet chipotle sauce, pepper-jack cheese. Vegetarian available, vegan available. 
French Onion Burger / Creamy french onion dip, caramel port onions, crispy fried onions, Swiss cheese. Vegetarian available.
Peanut Butter Bacon Burger / House-made peanut butter, hickory bacon, provolone. Vegetarian available, vegan available.

Their seasonal sides for April include potato salad (vegetarian) and Kung Pow broccoli (vegetarian or vegan). April’s featured dessert is strawberry shortcake bread pudding. The featured beer is North Coast Steller IPA and cocktail feature is the Hurricane Melt (two blends of rum, lime and orange juice, garnished with house-made grenadine).

Their main menu, take-out menu, happy hour menu, vegan/gluten free menu and catering menu will also see changes throughout the month, expanding options and updating recipes.

The Harvest for Hunger campaign to benefit the Dayton food banks is here and Melt Bar and Grilled encourages all guests to "round up the bill to fight hunger" the weekend of April 27th – 29th.
