Centerville mom rates son’s ‘unique’ service a ‘5’ even though he ate the dessert

But that doesn’t mean they don’t crave an occasional date night.

They ordered food from Amar India Restaurant, 2751 Miamisburg Centerville Road, and "hired" Geo as a waiter.

Here is Cardona-Jones’ playful review of the experience:

‘On Friday, April 10th we had a very interesting experience. Although the food was amazing, our stay at home server was unique. First, he ate directly from our plates and only refilled our drinks once. He was very friendly however and had a very contagious smile. He did clear our plates but never offered dessert. We later found him sitting on our sofa eating ice cream. When we asked him what he was doing, he replied, “Oh, just taking a break.” 😂 

At the end of the day, we are still giving this entire dining experience 5 stars. Why do you ask? Oh so many reasons. We were able to support a local business, the food was delicious, our server was absolutely adorable and accepted hugs as a tip. We all remain healthy and have been finding little ways to help when we can. Finally, we were able to find time to smile as husband and wife. Thank you Amar India Restaurant for creating a most memorable dining experience during the most trying times. We will definitely be back soon.

Cardona-Jones said Geo got a kick out of the review.

“He thought the review was funny, but fair. He admitted that he did abandon us for the ice cream,” she told us. “He actually also asked if he could be our server again soon, so he seemed to enjoy it overall.”

For her part, Cardona-Jones said she learned a few tricks about eating at Bistro Geo.

"Guess we gotta take what we can get. Might ask for a couple of drinks up front next time, because attention span," she said.
