Dayton businesses are in a truly wicked mood — and that’s a good thing for anyone trying to save a buck.

Merchants are offering deals through May 17 to coincide with the run of the smash Broadway hit “Wicked” at the Schuster Performing Arts Center, Second and Main streets in downtown Dayton.

The show put a spin on

The show is expected to pump $10 million into the local economy, according to an estimate from the Victoria Theatre Association.

The promotion called Wicked Deals offers an incentive to those visiting downtown to see the show, Beerbower said.

“They came for Wicked, but maybe they will also come down for dinner,” she said. “This will be the time you try a new business and service. (Hopefully,) you want to come back throughout the year.”

    Now for those deals…
