7 lust-worthy (& relatively inexpensive) places to live in downtown Dayton

By Amelia Robinson, Staff Writer

Looking for somewhere to hang your hat? Your house, condo or apartment  might just be in or near downtown Dayton.

Last month the
National Association of Home Builders listed the Gem City as the third most affordable major housing market in the nation and that's very great news for those looking to buy.

It is not bad for those looking to rent either.

Here is a rundown of some of the coolest homes for sale in downtown Dayton and its surrounding neighborhoods. We've also tossed in info about a recently rehabbed apartment building that's filling up fast.

While most of the properties are updated and ready for prime time, one or two need a little extra love for the right owner.

Note: Listings are as of  March 10, 2015 and are subject to change.
