Planet Fitness conducted its own study on teens and their parents, finding that 72 percent think exercise impacts mental health and 47 percent believe it helps them focus on schoolwork, in addition to helping them get in shape.
Nearly 42 percent of the teenagers surveyed said they have poor body image and nearly three in five said they don’t have enough time to make exercise part of their daily routine.
There are Planet Fitness locations on Airway Road in Dayton, Lyons Road in Centerville, Old Troy Pike in Huber Heights, Taywood Road in Englewood, Wilmington Pike in Sugarcreek Twp., Towne Blvd. in Middletown and Bechtle Avenue in Springfield among others in Cincinnati.
