For the past few months, those on the hunt for a new home, apartment or condo struggled to find a way to tour their top choices — but luckily, the Downtown Dayton Partnership has come up with an innovative way for future homeowners to find their sanctuary within downtown Dayton.

There are 1,715 market-rate housing units in the center of downtown Dayton — and around 97 percent of these housing units are currently occupied. Perhaps you could be a part of that 3 percent that brings the occupancy rate to 100 percent.

On Saturday, May 16, the Downtown Dayton Partnership will host a Virtual Downtown Housing Tour to give all those interested in downtown Dayton real estate (whether you're renting or owning) a chance to tour these properties via a virtual tour web page that will be linked to the Facebook event page at noon that day.

"Although it's unfortunate one of our most popular summertime events can't be held in person, our team is excited to offer this as a virtual experience that opens up unique opportunities that wouldn't have otherwise been available in our normal housing tour," said Sandy Gudorf, president of the Downtown Dayton Partnership, on the group's website.

- Centerfield Flats

- Dayton Landing

- The Riverfront Grande

- First Place Apartments

- Dayton Arcade

- St. Clair Lofts

- The View at Dayton Towers

- Wheelhouse Lofts

- 503 Building

- Fire Blocks

- Simms Development Monument Walk

- Litehouse Condos

The Virtual Housing Tour also will feature a behind-the-scenes discussion with owners as they take you on a tour of their interesting downtown Dayton homes, a live panel discussion with people who live in downtown Dayton, how-to videos from local businesses, and games with a chance to win prizes on the day of the event.

The live discussion panel will begin at 1 p.m. via  Zoom. Those interested in living in downtown Dayton will be able to ask residents what it’s like to live in this portion of the Miami Valley.
