K99.1FM earns one of the highest honors in country music again

K99.1FM has done it again.

K99.1FM WHKO radio in Dayton has been nominated for an Academy of Country Music Award for Medium Market station of the year.

“This is one of the highest honors you can receive in the country music industry,” says Nancy Wilson, morning show host and Program Director of K99.1FM. “We are so excited to represent the Miami Valley as one of the influencers in country music.”

The Radio Awards are given out during the annual Radio Winners Reception, which will be held on Saturday, April 6 in Las Vegas, Nevada, the day prior to the ACM Awards live telecast from MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday, April 7, 2019 at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.

The full list of 54th ACM Awards nominations will be announced in the coming weeks. Tickets for the event in Las Vegas are available for purchase starting at $408.75 and can be found at AXS Tickets.

The show will be broadcast on WHIO-TV Channel 7, Dayton’s CBS affiliate. WHIO-TV and WHKO radio are both owned and operated by Cox Media Group.
