Ready for a new tattoo? Could you use more art in your home?

Whatever the case may be, you won’t leave empty-handed after attending the 4th annual Arts and Drafts, a unique event hosted by We Care Arts in Kettering.

On-site tattooing will be provided by Trivium from Centerville and award-winning tattoo artist Mike Kelly from Dark Light Galleries in Pittsburgh. Participating tattoo artists have also provided art that will be auctioned inside the We Care Arts location.

Grub from Zombie Dogz and The Wicked 'Wich of Dayton food trucks will be available, along with frozen yogurt from Orange Leaf and cupcakes from Cake, Hope and Love. A variety of music from six live bands will fill the air during the night.

Craft root-beer and beer will be made available from BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse, Heidelburg Distributing Company and Toxic Brew Company.

We Care Arts, a non-profit organization that uses art to transform physical, developmental and mental challenges in individuals of all ages, is kicking off their evening event with their first annual 5K Arts and Drafts: Run, Stroll and Roll at 8 a.m. Registration is still open for $40. Each recipient receives a handmade ceramic medal and coupon for a free drink at Arts and Drafts.

All proceeds will help to program We Care ArtsThe agency has used the visual arts to help people at all levels of physical and cognitive ability to attain a level of personal independence.  The program aims for participants to profit from the art they produce.
