Brewery to release first bottled brew as part of 3-day anniversary party

Star City Brewing Company is hosting a three-day party in celebration of six years of local brews starting Thursday.

The celebration running Nov. 14-Nov. 16 will feature specialty tappings, mead and melomel corkings, live music, and the release of Star City’s first bottled beer.

“We’ve had a lot of fun crafting new beers and getting to know our neighbors over the last six years,” Star City Owner Justin Kohnen said in a news release. “This anniversary is a celebration of that time, the friendships we’ve formed, and our entire brewing community.”
