Excite your palate at The Barrel House’s Abraxas beer tasting event this weekend

This weekend, fans of Perennial Artisan Ales’ Abraxas — an Imperial Stout brewed with ancho chili peppers, cacao nibs, vanilla beans and cinnamon sticks — can partake in the seasonal delicacy at the Barrel House.

For one day only, on Saturday, Dec. 28, St. Louis-based  craft brewery Perennial Artisan Ales will be serving up variations of this stout meant to challenge and excite the palate. Along with the Abraxas, guests will also have an opportunity to try other beers brewed by Perennial Artisan Ales, including Pils, Saison de Lis, Maroon View IPA and Fantastic Voyage.

Beginning at 11 a.m., the Barrel House and Perennial Artisan Ales will be releasing a limited number of bottles of Abraxas (24 bottles), Coffee Abraxas (12 bottles) and Vanilla Abraxas (12 bottles). The bottles will be sold on a first-come, first served basis.

The even begins at 11 a.m. and runs until 11 p.m. Saturday.
