The Kearney event is billed as an "Enjoy a Taste of Louisiana" night, and it will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Dec. 28 at the brewery at 790 N. Main St. in the Settler's Walk retail center that also houses Dorothy Lane Market in Springboro. Kearney will be preparing grilled Andouille sausage served with red beans and rice for the event. Crooked Handle offers its locally crafted beers, as well as whiskey, wine and cider.

Crooked Handle is celebrating its 2nd anniversary with three nights of events Dec. 21-23. Those events include:
• A "Suds 'n' Shrimp" event from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Dec. 21.Ticket sales end Monday, Dec. 18, and attendees must buy tickets, which are available at this eventbrite.com site. The event will include live music from Chris Harwood from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.

• On Dec. 22, a new beer will be released at noon — Trinity Haze New England IPA. Live music will be provided by Kenny Floyd from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.
• Dec. 23 will bring the release of last year's two favorite Brew Club beers — Licorice Wit and Pistachio Cream Ale — at noon, and live music from Velvet Crush Unplugged from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.
