Free family movie night returns to Dragons ballpark

Donatos Family Movie Night is back with a feature presentation of “The Secret Life of Pets” (rated PG) on the 2,000-square-foot HD video board on Saturday, Aug. 24, at Fifth Third Field.

The gates for the event open at 6 p.m. and families are invited to bring a blanket and find a spot on the outfield grass.

Groups are advised to arrive early to secure a spot on the outfield grass before the movie begins. Seats will be available on the lower level first come, first served.

Before the movie begins, children will have the chance to meet Dragons mascots Heater and Gem, enjoy inflatable games, hang out with the Dragons Green Team, and more.

HOW TO GET FREE TICKETS

To request up to five free tickets, order a medium or large pizza from a participating Dayton-area Donatos location between July 22 and Aug.18. There will be a box top form to request the tickets or follow the online instructions.

WHAT TO BRING

Bring blankets to sit on the field. Strollers and wagons are allowed at the event, but are not allowed on field. No lawn chairs permitted.

Ballpark food and Donatos pizza will be for sale. No outside food or drink permitted.
