From 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, March 22, and Friday, March 29, take in your puppy “date” to Lindy’s to get your pup’s free photo with the elaborate Pup Prom backdrop. Once you post your glammed-up pup’s pic, use the hashtag #LindysPupProm, share the post and have all your friends and family “like” it.
"We wanted to do something that celebrated spring and gave our customers a chance to show off their cute pups in their prom outfits, while also bringing awareness to Lindy & Company, the retail bakery staffed by Daybreak youth that was established by Daybreak as part of its employment program. The bakery produces and sells gourmet pet treats from its Patterson Boulevard store-front and online at LindyandCompany.org.
Daybreak youth often lack the soft skills like initiative, decision-making ability, dependability, teamwork, etc., that employers expect. Lindy's serves as Daybreak's in-house, work-readiness program. Youth work at Lindy’s to develop their soft skills on the job in a supportive environment.
