Prove your pup is the prettiest at the ball with pup prom photo contest

You already know your pup is royalty every day. Now you can prove it and win some gourmet treats while you’re at it.

Lindy & Company pet treat bakery is hosting the first annual Lindy’s Spring Pup Prom Photo Contest now through the end of March. Participants just need to post their best prom photo of their dog to Lindy’s event page, and the two pictures with the most "likes" will be crowned King & Queen, King & King or Queen & Queen — however it turns out, said Marilyn Gadd, Corporate & Community Relations Director for Daybreak.  The last day to post a photo is March 31.

“We wanted to do something that celebrated spring and gave our customers a chance to show off their cute pups in their prom outfits, while also bringing awareness to Lindy & Company, the retail bakery staffed by Daybreak youth that was established by Daybreak as part of its employment program. The bakery produces and sells gourmet pet treats from its Patterson Boulevard store-front and online at LindyandCompany.org

Daybreak youth often lack the soft skills like initiative, decision-making ability, dependability, teamwork, etc., that employers expect. Lindy's serves as Daybreak's in-house, work-readiness program. Youth work at Lindy’s to develop their soft skills on the job in a supportive environment.
