Scare season is here, and a Dayton business is offering a night of fright that you won’t want to escape.

Mike’s Bike Park, located at 1300 E. First St., will hold a Halloween Lock-In and All-Night Ride from 10 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26, until 7 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 27.

The event is intended to offer adults and kids a fun, active alternative to roaming the streets in search of candy.

“This is our third time hosting a Halloween party at the park and the first time we’re doing it overnight,” said Michael Bisig, Mike’s Bike Park owner. “Our intent is to provide a really fun event for teens while their parents are out on the town.”

Costumes are not required, but they are encouraged. At the stroke of midnight there will be a costume contest. All ages are welcome, but children 12 and under require parental accompaniment.

>>MORE TO DO: New venue and more brew on tap for this year’s Ale-O-Ween

“Riders can come in Saturday night and explore all 50,000 feet of our cycling park,” Bisig said. “But it’s not only about riding. There will be great company, plenty of people in their best Halloween costumes, and we always provide pizza during our All-Night Rides.”
