Staff posted about the puppy on July 14, asking if the dog looked familiar to anyone. They found Jet by a Starbucks inside the airport.
After naming the dog, Jet, staff gave the puppy a tour of the firehouse and brought him to Cork ‘N Bottle CVG. Jet did not have his ID, however, and was unable to purchase anything. He also was badged as an official employee of the airport.
The staff then brought Jet to get Graeter’s Ice Cream. They determined that Jet was not from the Ohio area, as he had never tried it before. They took the dog by the Allegiant Travel Company counter.
Yesterday, Jet headed home to Florida. Staff showed pictures of the puppy waiting to take off. Jet wore a mask as he worked and traveled through the airport. Many people wished Jet safe travels as he flew home to his family in Florida.
Before Jet left for home, he got an interview with local TV station FOX19 WXIX, though some speculated that the interview may have been short.
